Description
Manny is a fully accessible static caravan sited at Coastfields North Shore Holiday Centre in Skegness, Lincolnshire, welcoming guests since Spring 2025. Purpose-adapted for people with complex mobility needs, Manny goes well beyond standard wheelchair access.
The caravan sleeps up to seven people, with a master bedroom featuring a full room coverage overhead track hoist with in-rail charging, a profiling single bed with removable bed sides, and a standard double bed. The master bedroom can be reconfigured to suit your specific access requirements. All internal doors are sliding doors, with a maximum opening width of 85cm.
The wet room measures 180cm by 190cm and includes a thermostatic shower with extended hose, a wheel-in tilt-in-space shower chair and commode, fixed and drop-down grab rails, and a raised toilet seat sitting 50cm from the floor. An Oxford Midi 170 hydraulic mobile hoist is stored in the outside box. The outside storage can also accommodate specialist breathing equipment and oxygen tanks, receivable at the park reception ahead of arrival.
The living and dining area is open plan with a 32-inch TV, Bluetooth speaker, and DAB radio. The kitchen is fully equipped and wheelchair accessible, with a lowered section by the wheel-under sink, though units are otherwise standard height. Bed linen is provided but not towels or tea towels.
Access is via an 85cm wide ramp at the front of the caravan, with a 90cm wide entrance door and threshold ramp provided. A dedicated WAV parking space is available to the front right of the caravan on arrival. A video tour of Manny is available on the Holistic Thinking Holidays website.
Holistic Thinking Holidays offer a full cancellation refund right up to the day of your holiday, meaning you can book with confidence rather than having to weigh up the cost of insurance against the risk of losing your money.
