Friendly Shoes’ Scout Desert Spice is their first zip-up boot for children, in dark tan faux suede. The wide-opening back zip makes it easy to get on and off, and the Scout offers the most ankle support of any shoe in the Friendly Shoes kids’ range.
The removable insole creates more space for AFOs or custom orthotics. Set the lace tension on the first wear and use the zip from then on. The top eyelet can be used for extra ankle support, though you’ll need to unlace it each time before using the zip. The faux suede can be treated with a water-resistant spray suitable for synthetic materials. Available in sizes K10 to K5.
