Description
There is enough room to sleep 2 people, with a three-quarter bed and a single, which both fold away easily. The three-quarter bed is height adjustable so you can transfer or hoist. The hoist can transfer you anywhere in the van making it easy to access the toilet and commode/shower chair – no need to dig a hole!
Paddy has solar panels, batteries and gas, as well as electric hook-up, so whether you’re in the wild or staying at one of the many campsites, all of your power needs are covered. With a fully fitted kitchen, water tanks, hot water and heating, you will be comfortable just about anywhere.
Owner Sam James is a powerchair user himself, so made sure everything has been designed with real-world wheelchair use in mind. As many things as possible fold away to create turning space even for a powerchair during the day.
Paddy comes equipped with a tablet where you’ll be able to access loads of apps regarding places you can stay overnight, free parking, wild sites and camping, plus loads of other helpful apps to assist you on your trip. Also on the tablet are helpful videos to help you navigate the van, from using the lift and understanding the water and electrical systems, to putting up the beds and emergency lift instructions. Paddy comes fully equipped for your trip, including:
- Kitchen essentials – plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, utensils, chopping boards, cooking pot, pan and wok, kettle, oven tray, scissors, can opener and peeler, plus a supply of salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and tea.
- Adaptive equipment – a commode chair, commode bowl and liners.
- Cleaning supplies – washing bowl, washing liquid, cleaning spray, sponge, cloths, wipes, bin bags, draining mat, hand soap, hand sanitiser and Clinell cleaning wipes.
